This kitchen was the next chapter in a home we already knew and loved. After transforming this client's basement into a multifunctional retreat for the kids, this family was ready to breathe new life into their kitchen — with one clear goal: make it functional, stylish, and full of character.

Working within the existing footprint, we focused on smart design decisions that would create flow and elevate everyday use. By widening a key doorway, we opened the space visually and physically, allowing for better connection to adjacent rooms and giving us the opportunity to maximize the width of the new island — a true centerpiece of the space.

Custom cabinetry took the lead, combining a deep, rich navy with the warmth of natural oak for a palette that feels both current and timeless. We layered in a stunning countertop and a stone backsplash with a striking vein detail to add depth, drama, and design integrity.
