The Haines Come Back

There’s nothing more rewarding than being invited back by a past client to continue the transformation of their home — and this project was the perfect full-circle moment. After reimagining their mudroom, this incredible family was ready to gut their outdated kitchen and bring their dream space to life.

The design vision was clear: rustic charm with refined contrast. We paired warm, knotty wood accents with crisp white shaker cabinetry to create a kitchen that felt both grounded and elevated. An inviting island with ample seating became the heart of the space — perfect for gathering, prepping, or just enjoying a morning coffee.

Floating shelves added a sense of openness and personality, offering space to display meaningful items, while dedicated display storage kept everything beautifully organized. One of our favorite details? A stunning handmade barn door created by the client themselves, leading to a hidden pantry nook that blends function with craftsmanship.

We also carved out space for a compact wet bar and additional storage — giving this family all the hidden extras that make a kitchen not just beautiful, but truly livable.
